Privacy Policy

Short version: iTag Hub keeps your data on your phone. iTag Hub is operated by Bros Dolz LLC. There are no accounts and no iTag Hub servers, so we never receive your tags, locations, or photos. The only outside services involved are the ad network and the app store that handle ads and purchases, described below.

1. Who we are

iTag Hub ("the app", "we", "us") is a Bluetooth item finder app for Android and iOS that works with generic Bluetooth Low Energy tracker tags. It is operated by Bros Dolz LLC. This policy explains what the app does with information on your device. Questions? Email support@brosdolz.com.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect personal data on our own servers, because iTag Hub has none. All information the app creates is stored locally in a database on your device and stays there. This includes:

• Tag settings, the name, icon or photo, and configuration you give each tag.
• Location history, captured only when you assign the "log location" action to a tag button press and then press that button.
• Photos, captured only when you assign a "take photo" action to a tag button press and then press that button.
• App preferences, theme, mute schedule, sounds, and similar settings.

You can export this data to a file you control, and import it back, at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all of it from your device.

3. Location

iTag Hub requests location permission only to support the optional "log location" tag action. When you trigger it, the app records the current coordinates, timestamp, and accuracy, then saves them to that tag's history, shown on a map inside the app. Location data is stored on your device only and is never sent to us. If you never assign the location action, no location is ever recorded.

4. Camera and photos

Camera permission is used only for the optional "take photo" tag action. Photos are saved to local app storage and shown in the tag's history. They are not uploaded anywhere.

5. Bluetooth

Bluetooth permissions let the app scan for, connect to, and communicate with your tracker tags. Bluetooth is used solely to find and talk to your tags; it is not used for advertising or location profiling.

6. Advertising

The free version of iTag Hub shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process device and usage information (such as a device advertising identifier) in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. Ads are never shown on the Find screen or during any alert or ring action.

You can remove all ads permanently with the one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. Once purchased, the ad SDK is no longer used.

7. In-app purchases

The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. Those stores handle the payment, and we do not receive or store your payment details. Your purchase is verified with the store so ads stay off across reinstalls.

8. Maps

The tag history map is drawn using OpenStreetMap tiles. When you open a map, your device requests map images from OpenStreetMap's tile servers, which necessarily receive your IP address and the map area being viewed, subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

9. Analytics and tracking

iTag Hub includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not track your behaviour in the app.

10. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data. The only third parties involved are the ad network (Google AdMob), the app store handling purchases (Google Play / Apple), and the OpenStreetMap tile service, each only to the limited extent described above.

11. Children

iTag Hub is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Your choices

• Decline or revoke any permission (Bluetooth, location, camera, notifications) in your device settings; features that need it will simply be unavailable.
• Remove ads with the one-time in-app purchase.
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app.
• Reset your advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note it in the app.
